· Responsible for database design & fine-tuning, help the development team with special performance considerations.
· Perform security administration: monitor and administer DBMS security. Adding and removing users, administering quotas, auditing, and checking for security problems.
· Assist in analytics database system analysis: analyze the data stored in the database and to make recommendations relating to performance and efficiency of that data storage. This might relate to the more effective use of indexes, enabling "Parallel Query" execution, or other DBMS specific features.
· Configure software (and hardware) together with the system administrator —perform software installations, and configure hardware and software to functions optimally with the DBMS.

Responsibility:
· To synchronize and align IT strategic direction in support of current & future business needs. This internal strategy consulting role is responsible for the development of 1-5 year IT strategies for key solutions & platforms while linking to existing planning, governance & adoption processes.
