DOCOM - Intro

   Percubaan saya menubuhkan DOCOM resources adalah dari kesinambungan DOUBLE O. Tujuan nya adalah tak lain dan tak bukan untuk membuktikan kontraktor telco bumiputera juga mampu bersaing dalam masa yang sama menaikkan semula imej industri telco tanahair yang sudah tercalar.

   Hasil dari kajian setelah hampir 'tewas' di pusingan pertama, saya telah menyusun kembali strategi untuk bangkit di pusingan kedua.

1. Modal
    Modal memainkan peranan penting di dalam setiap bisnes. Modal yang besar tidak menjamin keutuhan sesebuah bisnes. Oleh itu saya mula dengan modal kecil iaitu lebih kurang RM50k.

2. Staff
    Di awal penubuhan sesebuah sykt kecil, mempunyai staff yang berkemahiran dengan gaji yang kecil adalah agak mustahil. Oleh itu saya merekrut lepasan diploma poli & kolej tempatan. Bermula dgn 2 student praktikal dan 3 staff sepenuh masa, 2 staff terpaksa saya transfer ke syarikat lain kerana tidak menepati syarat2 DOCOM. 2 orang student ini saya upgrade kepada permanent staff setelah menilai hasil kerja mereka selama sebulan. Jumlah staff hanya 3 orang.
   Buat permulaan saya hanya train mereka utk membuat dwg memandangkan itu sahaja projek yg saya dapat. Lagipun saya tpksa monitor mereka dari 'luar negeri'

3. Kelengkapan
    Hanya kelengkapan asas seperti sebuah meja dan 2 kerusi + sebuah PC 2nd hand I5, cukup untuk buat Autocad. Lagipun staff lebih selesa buat kerja pakai Laptop sendiri. Untuk pengetahuan anda, saya hanya menyewa sebuah bilik office kecil yang dilengkapkan dengan 2 meja dan satu kerusi. Siap dengan air-cond dan wi-fi. Saya juga dapat menggunakan kemudahan training room. Sewa hanya rm480 termasuk api air.

12. Test gears usage (Sig Gen. VSWR, Pwr Meter)

 Job Description:

• Responsible for demarcation of Service Quality issue of mobile network
• Having the ability to analyze network issues by signaling message or KPI.
• Responsible for demarcation between Core network and Wireless network .
• Responsible for communication Service Quality issue with customer.
• Identify service issues due to provisioning or mobile equipment.
• Provide training to service partners.

Professional Related Working Experience

• At least 8 years network operation (at least tier 2) experience in Telecomm Operator, i.e. Ericsson, NSN, HUAWEI, etc
• Master the 3GPP (R4/R5/R6) including, SS7 and SIP signaling (H248,SIP,ISUP, GSM MAP, SIGTRAN, CAMEL, etc);
• Understand the network structure of CS , i.e. GSM,WCDMA, UMTS
• Very good knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, UMTS
• Abundant experience on following product  HLR,IN,SMSC,MSC ,MGW, STP, etc.
• BSC/RNC experience would be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting competence and Maintenance skills for Core network .
• Good experience in handling core network optimization.

Qualification Requirements:

• Education:  4 year university degree in Telecom or Computer Science
• Language Skills: English, Arabic(Optional)
• Good working attitude, good cooperation attitude, good analytical skills and can working   under huge pressure

3G Resources Required - Algeria!

Calling all 3G Engineers! As you may be aware, Algeria has now obtained a 3G license and huge projects will be starting this year. We are currently seeking multiple Ericsson-skilled engineers with RNC/Node B Design / Troubleshooting / Integration / Testing engineers to join this project on a long-term basis.
